GGOB Gateway to Potential Conference: My Takeaways
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I want to share a few reflections from my time at The Great Game of Business’ Gateway to Potential Conference in St. Louis.
I was honored to join a panel discussion, “Stronger Together: How Employee Ownership Fuels Resilience and Growth in Uncertain Times,” alongside Laura Ruzicka of SRC Holdings Corporation, Cassandra Sanford of KellyMitchell Group, and Jerrod Hogan of OWN, Inc.
Our conversation focused on an important question for businesses today: How can employee ownership help companies navigate uncertainty while creating opportunities for growth?
What I appreciated most was hearing the personal experiences of leaders who are putting employee ownership into practice. While each organization has its own story, the conversations reinforced how employee ownership can strengthen employees' connection to the business, its success, and its future.
The conference also reminded me of how valuable it is to bring together people exploring different approaches to ownership and business leadership. These conversations help make employee ownership more tangible and give business owners the opportunity to learn from those who have already taken the journey.
I’m grateful to The Great Game of Business for creating space for these conversations and to Laura, Cassandra, and Jerrod for sharing their experiences and perspectives. I left the conference encouraged by the continued interest in employee ownership and the people working to make these models more accessible to business owners and employees.
The future is stronger when we build it together.
Sincerely,
